At Wharfedale Occupational Therapy we determine through functional assessment if equipment and /or adaptations would be a suitable solution, and through environmental assessment if it is suitable for the environment.

We can direct you to purchase the correct equipment or we can arrange the purchase for you. We can advise you which adaptations would increase your independence, or help your carers assist you. We can signpost you to local suppliers and / or builders, we can work with your chosen builders to give guidance on your personal requirements and we can arrange architects, structural engineers, mechanical electrical engineers, plumbing and heating specialists to provide expert knowledge.

Almost 20 years’ experience working in a community setting, recommending and arranging equipment and adaptations in peoples’ own homes, working for or alongside statutory services and private organisations.
