HOW WE CAN HELP

Offering support for appointments of any kind

Wharfedale Occupational Therapy can attend any type of appointment where someone may need support such as at a consultation. Appointments with the DWP, NHS, private healthcare, statutory health and / or social care appointments / assessments, the list is endless.

We would meet the person at the venue or travel with them to the appointment, ask your important questions and update you on discussions and treatment plans with the consent of the supported person. We will provide you with a clear interpretation of the discussions and decisions from the appointment.

OUR EXPERTISE

Almost 20 years’ experience working with multi-disciplinary team members in health and social care roles. Our friendly, caring and supportive approach aims to help the supported person feel comfortable in our company.

Excellent understanding of medical, health and social care terminology, and experience of relaying this back in an easy to understand format to patients / clients and their families and friends.
